Project Overview
PROJECT:
Construction Of New 2-Lane With Paved Shoulder Of Hamirpur Bypass Of New Nh-103 (Design Chainage Km 121.175 To Km 138.295 Design Length 17.120 Km) In The State Of Himachal Pradesh Under Nh (O) On Ham Mode, Hamirpur-Himachal Pradesh.
Scope of Work
- Detailed slope stability analysis from chainage 126+800 to 127+030
- Preparation of Detailed Drawing for the abovesaid chainages
Our Contribution
Initially, the Tender Document stipulated a Self-drill anchor (SDA) of 32mm, with a presumed slope height of approximately 27m. However, subsequent site investigations revealed a greater slope height of approximately 60m. Upon analysis, it became apparent that the forces acting on the SDA exceeded expectations, reaching approximately 650 KN. Consequently, the 32mm SDA with a lower yield strength of approximately 250 to 300 KN was deemed insufficient. CDC provided the alternate and safest solution for the slope of 60m height. This design help the contractor to get safe Design for Slope stability analysis , Also CDC help contractor for getting the variation (change of scope) for execution of this project.
